“For the past 20 years, we have been fulfilling our mission which is to provide a future of love and hope for underprivileged children. Over the years, we have witnessed the marvellous results of our intervention by the children we caught in the cycle of abuse, neglect and abandonment. We are truly honoured to have our Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir Bin Mohamad advocating our efforts and blessed to have organisations like the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club supporting our cause as without people like them, it is almost impossible for us to reach out to our children that are in need” said Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra.
Meanwhile, Rumah Nur Kasih Manager, Wan Nur Maizan Azizan, said that they were grateful for the contribution as it will ensure security of managing operations of the home for a couple of years. “This contribution allows the children at our home to have a chance at a bright future as we will have sufficient funding for their education too” said, Wan Nur Maizan Azizan.
