OfficialsMany of the yachts participating in the RLIR 2008 leave Phuket and arrive at RLYC during the two days of Registration. It is very helpful for the Race and Registration committee to have officials from the Malaysian Customs, on hand to efficiently process the paperwork for clearing these yachts into the country.

Well Done

The officers who deserve our thanks are Satirah Shawbari and Noorfaredza Mustafa of Immigration, Mohd Salwan and Loh Thiam Choy of the Customs Department, and Abdul Basir Abdul Latiff and Anuar Ghani from the Harbour Masters.

Seven WallsSeven Wells or Telaga Tujuh in the west of Langkawi is an attraction to all those seeking to do something other than lie on the beach all day. Please do not ignore the sign stating the distances, however irregular they may seem, as we think that sometimes a tourist attraction needs more than just cascading waterfalls to pull in the crowds.
